Our story
A scratch kitchen in the shadow of the Capitol.
The Soup Spoon Cafe sits on East Michigan Avenue, halfway between Michigan State University and the State Capitol. We're a full-service restaurant and bar known for our scratch kitchen and crafted cocktails, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Made here, every day
Everything starts from scratch.
We smoke our own salmon, make our own Canadian bacon and rosemary sausage, and simmer every soup in house. Desserts too. Then we serve it all in a room where you can come as you are.
